Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, made known to the television world through TLC’s reality show, 19 Kids and Counting are considering adding to their family through adoption. Now grandparents to two (with a third on the way), they’re not quite sure they are finished adding to their immediate family.
Of course, for the Duggars, they would have to know it is God’s will in order for them to move forward. “We are praying about it, and we will see what God has in store,” Michelle Duggar told People Magazine recently.
Perhaps an impetus for considering adoption came from their recent trip to Beijing, China, where the entire family stopped in at an orphanage. The visit to Asia was part of an upcoming TLC special, 19 Kids and Counting: Duggars Do Asia.
