Although the language in this video is not widely preferred adoption language, the sentiment is what is important.

Willie Robertson talks about how he and his wife just felt adoption was right. He talks about how they also chose a bi-racial child because they were harder to place.

He goes on to explain how the thought of any child going without a home is not something he likes to think about.

Something that I love about this particular video is that his adopted son’s name is Willie Jr. Even though Willie has an older biological son, his adopted son got his father’s name. This is incredible to me. This shows that they instantly saw past the non-matching DNA and thought of him as their son.
