It’s not just detectives who are using DNA search to find people. More and more, adoptees and biological families are using DNA searches to find long-lost loved ones.

With a strong desire to find and reunite with birth parents, many adoptees are using or International Soundex Reunion Registry to locate family.  The website 23 and Me supplies DNA kits to collect a DNA sample.  One person, Carolyn Pooler, and adoptee who lives in Kansas City, met with great success using this method.  In this news video Carolyn shares her newfound joy as bit by bit she has reunified with birth family members.
