Meet the Rupanovic Family. I had the opportunity to photograph this wonderful family in the beautiful area of Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. I met Michelle through a friend on Facebook when I originally advertised “Forever Sessions” for forever families. This family is amazing and I want to share a little bit about them.
Michelle shared with me during our session that the desire to adopt all started when she was 18 years old and a freshman in college. As the years went on, the desire became stronger and stronger. When Michelle met Richard, they discovered they had a mutual passion for adoption. In 2010 they said, “I do!”
Richard has served 22 years in the Air Force and is still currently serving. He shared with me his love for his wife and kids and said that being a husband and father is one of the best things to happen to him.
During this session, I was joyfully overwhelmed by Michelle’s strong passion and loving heart for children in general. She shared with me that she has always wanted children and that if she could do this all over again to bring her little blessings home, she would. Talk about love in action. I truly adore this family and hope that this story has encouraged you and made you more aware of the loving impact adoption has on a family. I know that I’m truly blessed by it.
