We are getting ready for our last trip to MA to finalize the adoption of our girls. We tried unsuccessfully on the last two trips to find the birthparents' pictures in high school yearbooks at public libraries.
We know their names and ages, and paid for an Intellius list of all of the places they have lived in the past 10 or 15 years, but it doesn't go back far enough to show where they lived during high school.
We have no desire to meet them at this time (their TPR wasn't pretty), but we would like to put their pictures in the girls' lifebooks since they don't remember much about them anymore and are grieving that loss.
Does anyone have any ideas of how we can find pictures of the birthparents? DSS doesn't have any on file and they haven't been too helpful trying to get us any. They can't even remember what race they are other than "Puerto Rican." (The doctor who delivered the girls said that the birthmom "looked White" and she never saw the birthdad. But our oldest looks like she has some African ancestry, so we're guessing that birthdad is the one who has African or Antilles heritage.
We're just really hoping to find something on our last trip to MA. Any ideas???
IS THERE ANYWAY THAT YOU CAN CONTACT ADOPTION.COM TO LET THEM KNOW THAT THEY ARE NOT ALLOWING ANYONE TO SEARCH THE YEAR OF 1988 EVEN THOUGH SOME ARE 18 THAT YEAR. MY SON WAS BORN FEB10TH BUT i CAN NOT SEARCH THE LAST YEAR AVAILABLE IS 1987. THANK YOU, AMY   :thankyou: :thankyou:
DPHs proposal to permit them is commendable. The comments also state that the agencyҒs proposal of regulatory flexibility might be especially helpful in an emerging market, as health care providers explore different ways to deliver basic care on a competitive basis.Ӕ At the same time, however, the comments state that the proposed requirement that all LSC advertising be pre-approved by the DPH may be overly restrictive,Ӕ and recommends that it be struck from the regulations.
