This is a little off the the adoption topic. My girlfriend has a yr old daughter.the biological father (who she was never married 2) doesn't pay childsupport and doesn't have any contact with their daughter.and also there was never a paternity test done,though she holds his last name.But when she was born she held my girlfriends married name and was later changed 2 the biological fathers last name.Can my girlfriend change her daughter's last name 2 her last name without the fathers consent?
