I was looking for scrapbook layout ideas involving scrapbooks that birthmothers view when choosing a home for their child. Does any one know of websites that are particular to pre adoption? Thanks!

We too did our "profile" scrapbook style. I don't think there are really any scapbook websites that are geared for adoption per say, but you could always go to the Creative Memories website for general layout tips and ideas. You could also ask your agency or attorney if you could view some other profile books. You will prabably get an idea pretty quickly of the formats you do and don't like. Good luck!

I have a website that caters to adoptive families, but I don't currently have any layouts on display that would fit your current need.
I'd like to though, so if you can give me some thoughts on what you'd like to see, I'll see what I can do!

Adoption scrapbook and lifebook supplies
There is a great program for your desktop called Scrapbook Factory (Art Explosion).... I am really hooked on it.
It's very versatile. It offers a lot of templates to give you ideas, and also has blanks so you can create your own pages, with plenty of clip art and background patterns and neat photo and text effects. I really recommend it to anyone who wants a specific style of scrapbook page (such as adoption or pre-adoption) that you can't find anywhere else.
Good Luck!
I too am making a pre-adoption scrapbook as a beginning of a baby book. It is not how we did our profile, though. Our profile consisted of 6 pages each of our autobiographies and a 5-page written DBP letter. I inserted pictures in the profile using MS Publisher. I used clean fonts for the letter and fancier fonts for the titles of each section. I used another somewhat fancy font for the captions of the photos. I discovered that Epson makes a photo quality cardstock, so the pictures looked super crisp when we printed it.
Now, I am beginning the baby book with the pictures from our profile and using neutral colors since we don't know if we are having a boy or a girl (domestic adoption). My next two pages will be pocket pages for the autobiographies and the letter to the prospective birthparent.
I have also made a three-book group of accordian books using heavy book board for the covers and black card stock for the accordian folds. I am also currently covering a spine book (google Paper Source) to put the books, silver journaling pen, glue, and photo corners inside. We will give this to the birthparent.
Part of the reason I didn't do a scrapbook profile is because our agency photocopies the profiles and gives them to the prospective birthparents--I wanted soemthing that would photocopies the best possible way.
Thanks for letting me share.
