Recently I was reading somewhere about the Marshallese language. Apparantly there are many 'spinoffs', and many times a word that has the same meaning may be spelled differently by different authors due to the fact that there is no official enforcement of spelling (this may have changed since the writing of the article I was reading).
The Marshallese language is probably one of the most interesting languages I have ever studied, and it is proving to be one of the most fun!
