My mothers name is Nieves Jimenez Tasico, I do not know who my father is. I was born 10/24/1975 @ 21 Brill Street . W.B.B.. in Olangapo City. My mother 's birth place is San Marceline in Zambales, sh was 22yrs old when I was born. On my birth certificate it says that "HILOT " was the attendant at birth, what does "HILOT " MEAN?
If any one has any info or that can guid me on searching for my birth parents please do not hesitate to contact me..thnx you
Hi,
Just wondering if you know what orphanage you were adopted from. My husband was adopted from Hospicio de San Jose in 1971, and his adoptive mother wrote to the orphanage, and they started a birth mother search. We haven't found out anything yet, but we do go in a few weeks to adopt our new little one!

Hi this is in responce to your last email.....
I do not know the orphanage I was placed in. The only thing I remember is that there was a large metal gate in front of the building and that the military were doing some construction there. I was told that I was placed by the "Perrys" a catholic organizied group>> maybe missionaries who helped my adopted family adopt me?
I do not have contact with my adopted family. How could I find out what orphanage I came from?
or....may be you could provide me with the address of the orphange your husband came from, and from there I could write them and ask them....
I would also like to congradulate you and your husband on your adoption...hope everything works out with the little one...
IF you have any thought, please email me...
OH, I would also like to thank you for your reply and your time....
:p
Hi,
Here is the address and phone number of the Hospicio de San Jose orphanage.
Hospicio de San Jose
Ayala Bridge, Manila 1001
Philippines
63 2 734 2366 or 67
They might be able to tell you what organization that is, and what orphanage you may have been taken to. We have a website, and there are pictures there of the orphanage if you'd like to see if it is familiar! http://orphanage_fund.tripod.com Good luck!

HI, jen i wanna thank you for your info... I will start from here..
thanks for your time..
Do you know if you were in an orphanage? I was born in Olongapo City in 1976. I lived in King's Fil-Am orpahange which was run by an American from Oregon. It is an interdenominational christian home. I visited last summer with ICAB. Perhaps if you get in touch with them, mainly a lady named Jenny she might be able to help you. there are also hundreds of orphanages in the Philippines.....it's not ikely that an orphanage in Manila would know about OC adoption in 1975.

Hi Everybody,
I was born in Olongapo City General Hospital in Dec 1972.
I was then taken to the orphange by Mrs. Dunn
who started the Kings Fil-Am orphanage. I was then adopted by an american family in Chicago, IL. I now live in Seattle, WA.
I would love to visit the Philippines and my orphange. I have never been back.
Cants wait to here from anyone.
I have my birth monthers name. I do not know who my birth father is. My birth certificate says my mother "Elvira Escibal" had 1 previouse child before she had me. So I may have a 1/2 sibling out their.
Cant wait to hear from anyone! :)
Jimenez,
My suggestion would be to research orphanages around the U.S airforce bases in the Philippines. Clark Airforce Base and Subic Airforce, seeing that you recall Navy people around you.
I am going back to the Philippines this summer and am planning to speak with ICAB to learn more about adoptions that took place in the 1980's and 90's. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help with your search.
