How many large families here

We have nine boys, but only 7 are currantly living at home(although my 19 year old may be moving back in as being an adult was a little tougher than he thought).

hi my mom had 7 kids by birth including a set of twins(me and my twin sister kasey)plus her 4 nieces and nephews she and dad adopted.now that mom and dad are gone,im now parenting my 9 younger brothers and sisters,with help from my family.its not easy,but as far as im concerned,theyre my kids now.i have a lot of help from two of my brothers,ages 11 and 13.

Boy, you are all incredible! I always thought I had a very large family (3 boys, 3 girls), until I started reading here! It fills me with admiration, and makes me feel much less self-conscious! I don't know how you do it. Though, with 2 teenagers ready to leave the nest for college in a few months, maybe the nest will suddenly seem very empty! Aren't big families great though??? Challenging, busy, chaotic at times, but absolutely great....
