Hello,
There is an outing coming up for RMI families. It would be wonderful to see as many families as possible attend. I know what a difference it makes to my daughters when we are able to get together with other children from the RMI and meet their families. They get so excited and talk about it for months afterwards! It really does make a difference to them. These gathering are open to everyone. It doesn't matter which agency, attorney, or facilitator you used. It doesn't matter if you adopted in the RMI or in the U.S. It doesn't matter how old or young your children are. It doesn't even matter if you have not adopted yet but would like to get together with other families that have to meet their children and share their experiences. Families, all families, are welcome. There is only one goal in coordinating these get together and that is to bring families with children from the RMI or those who hope to adopt children from the RMI together. We will be heading to Arizona sometime this summer so it will be one of our last chances to see other RMI families from this part of the world! I hope to see as many families as possible there!
