We are thinking of using a facilitator for our adoption. that being said I will need to find a local attorney to do the paperwork etc. Does anyone have an idea of what the cost will be for legal? Thanks!

Every State/Lawyer is different but right now our attorney's fees will cost somewhere in the area of like $3500. He is not from PA & I have no idea what PA's would cost. When I lived in NY, our lawyer's fee was $4000. The whole process is just a lot of money! Hope that can help you out!

We adopted our twins from ohio and used a pa agency for the home study and placement follow-up, so the only thing the attorney did for us was the actuall legal paper work and the court hearing. She charged us 600 hundred plus minimul fileing fees and birth cert. fees. I hope this helps
