Hi,
We were matched in early November, and we didn't travel until May 22! But, all of our delay was on the US side of things, first with our I-600 - they lady that does the approval letters at our BCIS office got mad, and held our papers for 2 1/2 months (they still have not given us a reason). Then, once our little girl had her US embassy interview, the US embassy in Manila held it up for another 6 weeks. So, depending on how fast your US stuff goes is how soon you'll be able to travel. Oh, but if you're not in the US I was told that you are usually there within 2 months time!

Hello! My husband and I were matched with a child on March 20. It took 3 weeks from the time we sent in our acceptance letter and our cashier's checks to ICAB until the INS recieved our I-600 petition on April 18th. From there, it took INS 9 weeks to process our I-600. We got our I-600 approval just last week on June 14. Now, it will take 2-4 weeks for New Hampshire to process the visa (or send whatever they have to send to the embassy in Manila) and then 2-4 weeks to process our child (visa interview, medical, etc.) so we are thinking we will go pick him up at the end of July. So roughly 4 months. Hope this helps!
