Hello everyone...This is my first time here. My husband and I has been looking at Philippine adoption. We have been married for 10 years and looking forward to start a family. We are interested in adopting siblings.
Recently I was offered by my brother and his girlfriend who both live in the Philippines to adopt their 2nd baby due in November. I don't know if this is possible, if it is how do I start the adoption process? And is there any adoption agency that provide services to a situation like this? Please help.....
Thank you

You should not have any major problems with this kind of adoption and is should happen more quickly because the child is not only related to you but is also born out of wedlock. Contact ICAB; You can find the contact infomation in the webpage link below at the bottom of the page.

Yes, this is very possible! It is called a relative adoption. I'll pm you the name of an agency to contact, and they'll get you directed in the right direction. We spent quite a bit of time talking to the director at ICAB about this very situation, and they are very willing to adopt relatives to relatives. In fact, as long as you provide the right paperwork, it can go much faster than most people waiting to be matched.
