When the relative adoption application is approved by ICAB with their issue of the Letter of No Objection, do ICAB handle the change of the child's last name to the last name of the adoptive parents and/or first name as well chosen by the adoptive parents ?

Everyone that adopts from the Philippines has a six month postplacement period where the child is still really under their birth name. Once you go to court ( after the six months) and get the adoption decree, then you rename your child, and make it his/her legal name.
However, for relative adoptions it might be different, I am not fully knowledgable on that one, sorry.
