Could anybody tell me that is there an age restriction on adoptive parents on ICAB's rules and regulations. Is a 50+ age woman allow to adopt a one year old or younger todler according to ICAB rules and regulations. Is there anything as "too old to adopt".A ICAB representative commented to my wife that she is "too old" to adopt at the age of 54. How old is "too old" ?
If I remember right, I think the cut off age is 47 to adopt an infant/toddler. I'll pm you the website of the agency we went through, and it details all the info. on requirements to adopt from the Philippines.

According to the DSWD office social worker who did our interview we were told that the combined age of adoptive parents should not be more than 100 years. However she said the best interest of the child would be considered in each case.
