I have been looking for information pertaining my birth family for nearly 15 years.
I have no - identifying information - mom was 21, a student - dad was 44, and cab driver
i had two uncles - 17 and 15 when I was born May 3, 1968 at the Royal Alexandria Hospital - dr was Dr. Armstrong

Do you know your birthsurname?
It is information you are entitled to have.
Records have come open for those born in Alberta and adopted in Alberta and which haven't had a disclosure veto placed on by the birth mother to not disclose her info, and same for the birthfather.
I would recommend that if you haven't sent in the application for the IDENTIFYING Information yet,
and you don't have your birthsurname,
send in for the NON IDENTIFYING information first - from the Post Adoption Registry, Alberta Government

and request your birthsurname.
Thereafter apply for the IDENTIFYING information.
