Awaiting Medical and Interview Appts.

I have some questions for you. Have you received your child referral yet? How old?, Boy,Girl? We have been waiting for a match since May 2003.

It should be about 3-4 weeks until all the papers get there, and a medical gets scheduled. Then it'll be another1-2 weeks until the embassy appearance, and then, if they don't need anything else it should be within a week or two that you'll get your email inviting you to come. (if they do need more papers, or "proof of" something documents, it'll be about another 6 weeks) You have up to 30 days to get there once you get that email! Congratulations!!! Jen

To Orphanagemom, Thanks for the info. My husband and I are hoping that it'll be smooth sailing from here on out. We're crossing our fingers that we get to travel to pick up our girls sometimes at the end of Feb or March at the latest. I'll keep you posted. Again thanks!
