I just need to vent
We had our home safety inspection almost two months ago.
Social worker said everything was fine - no worries.
So we have our other meetings, review everything that was in our bios, no surprises.
Social worker cancels our appt to sign paperwork three times due to various excuses - State Audit, Weather, Etc
She shows up last night and says she won't approve us until she can reinspect the house due to 'clutter' in our IN Law Suite Bedroom (totally different area from the main 3 bedrooms of the house 1/4 of room has boxes and totes from items we packed up during basement remodel process)
I know it isn't the end - but it is a waisted delay that she could have told us about over a month ago :-(
thanks for letting me vent.
Diane
Diane,
I can't think of better motivation for getting rid of your extra "STUFF". I'm cleaning, streamlining and dontating all sorts of items to make our house a less cluttered environment. And, it takes up some of your time while waiting!!! Sorry for your delay though.
Keep it as positive motivation for "the days to come"~

Diane, I can't imagine how frustrating that would be!
It may be a good motivator to sort through the stuff and put it away, but it is also inconsistent of counties/agencies to balk at one person's clutter and not another's, or to waste a month without letting you know it would be an issue.
Sorry that happened, good luck getting them to move more quickly in the future:)
That Seems Very Odd Because Most People Have A Junk Room>>> We Have A Junk Room And There Was No Problem>>>>>>we Did Have A Problem Getting The Director To Visit Our Home Though>>>>several Cancellations And Frustrated Since We Had To Our Anniversary Plans So The Director Could Visit And Finally Approve The Homestudy> Glad It"s Over With Hang In There
