Well, we FINALLY got the call but had to say NO...my hubby requested that at least for the first few placements we only take ONE at a time.
The call was for THREE...a 2 yr old, 1 yr old and a 1 week old and they wanted 3 visits per week.
Within mere seconds of her telling me the situation I had the car seat plan laid out in my head (I have 2 school age children of my own, too), knew what time of day would work best for visits, etc. But above it all I could hear my husband's voice saying, "TELL HER NO!!! ONLY ONE AT A TIME!!!!"
So, I did what a good wife does and said no. The children ended up NOT going into care, I called later to find out if they found anyone, so it all worked out.
But...I went to WALMART today and bought some $1 newborn clothes and a pacifier...just in case.
:)
Can't help but "nest"!!! :)
How is everyone else doing?

I agree with Sam, at least they called.
Take it from someone parenting a 2, 2, and 3 y/o it's hard and only one of mine had visits and that was once a week, I could not have imagined 3 visits a week YIKES!!! I was relieved when his 1 visit stopped lol.
Hang in there. You'll get another call.
Michelle
:) Thanks guys for your support!
2sentbyGod~ There was a plan B...if they couldn't find anyone to take ALL three they were going to keep the older two together and call me back with the baby. I would LOVE another baby in the house, too!
I will keep you all updated on any more calls!!
:)
