My husband and I are to attend a "Child Presentation" next month. From what I understand, this county does this child presentation first, then the interview. Can someone tell me what to expect? And is there any special questions I need to bring up? Thanks!
Sounds exciting! I'm glad somebody in PA is having better luck than us. I'd make a list of ?'s to take with you(medical history, number of foster homes, etc) then see what is answered at the presentation. Where are you in PA??
Good luck!

We're not experts, we've only been on one county interview, but our experience was that they answered a lot of our questions with "We don't know".
In our case, it was probably true that they didn't know because the child's case was new to that county, but if the county you are working with has been in charge of the child's case for a while, I would have followed up any "We don't know" answers with "Any idea when I can have that information?", and write down what they say-- to let them know you still would like an answer even if it isn't right away.
What we are afraid of is that once the child is placed, their motivation to find out facts and relay them to us is zero, as that is what I read so often on these boards and have heard from the two foster/adopt families I know IRL.
Good luck and let us know how it goes!
