Our new baby girl has been having uhm...poo issues for weeks now (and she's not even a month old). After a series of tests they have ruled out everything they suspected she had (thank goodness), but now we have been told to put her on Enfamil Nutramigen Lipil... I cannot believe the price of this stuff! I could eat lobster for every meal and it would be cheaper than giving this formula to my baby. ;)
Any suggestions on where to buy/order this? Please PM me if you can help. Thanks!

We did really well on eBay, honestly. Other parents just like us who had leftover cans after their babies were transitioned off. I was able to pay $12 - $13 a can including shipping.
Also, we were lucky in that our son was the only baby in the doctor's office on Nutramigen at the time and our doctor loaded us down with sample cans every time we came for a visit.
I swear, it's liquid gold though. Ryan was a completely different baby after he went on it.

hey, target often has sales, and it will be $5 a readytofeed can, rather than their 7.49 price. check all the targets in your area, since they will have diff prices on things.
you have my sympathies. dd was on it for 11 months  . btw, check every few months to see if you still need it. some kids just need it for a few months til their insides develop. Sometimes you can transition off it at 4, 6 or 8 months (or whatever).
oh and have every person with a new baby sign up for you at Enfamil. they may be nursing, but you can use the coupons :D .
good luck,
lisa
We get ours at Walmart, but now we are probably moving onto Neocate which is even more expensive (30.00/can after insurance kicks in) and prescription only UGH!!!! Our daughter is having an endoscopy and biopsy to find out what is going on as well as blood draw for allergens. Good luck to you!!!

I also couldn't believe how pricey it is. A couple of options would be ebay. The sellers are usually mothers who have extras left over. Samples and coupons from Enfamil themselves, and deals from your local store or online deal sites that finds the lowest price per ounce (which is your true savings). An example of the current prices right now (bulk isn't always cheaper!),

In our case we asked our friends who were breastfeeding, but still getting coupons from Enfamil to save them for us. We found the cheaper version at Target (they came in bigger cans). Quite often if you were getting 2-3 cans, you also had ~$10 off + another 5% off if you were using Target card, it helped. It is not cheap, but we really had a different baby once we switched him to Nutramigen. It made a huge difference.
My pediatrician gave me tons of coupons (ask your doctor) plus tons of free samples and told me the cheapest place to buy it was Dierbergs in Missouri. I'm not sure about where your at but I'd ask about the coupons they were like $6 off a can! But I've used my RedCard at Target too and it comes out to about the same with the coupon and the 5%.
