amount of formula

Hey everyone. I have a question. How much and how often are your typical 2 month olds taking at each feeding? Mine take 5 ounces every 4-5 hours. He has grown a lot in these two weeks. Just curious if he is on track. :flower:

That sounds pretty much on target. It's amazing how fast they grow!

Thanks for the replies. There is no way my body could handle feedings every 2 hours! My little guy usually goes 5 hours during the night and I am SO thankful!

I think the "formula" for the amount they are supposed to eat is 2 ounces per pound of body weight per day. So if your child weighs 15 pounds, then he should have 30 ounces of formula for the entire day. So, just divide this amount by how often he eats.
