Hi everyone,
I know this sounds dumb, but what size does your 14 month old wear? I am going to buy my little guy's shoes a little too big, but don't know where to even start. I'm trying to order some Robeez on-line that have an age range (thanks, Lisa, for the great idea!) but I may have to just go out and purchase some traditional shoes in the interest of time.
Thanks so much!

My daughter is 13.5 months old and is wearing a size 4 shoe. She is on the tiny side. I would guess you might be OK getting a size 5. If you have a Target near you, they carry shoes by Stride Rite. They are labled Baby Smart. They are much less expensive than stride rite. You could get a couple of sizes and then return the ones that didn't fit.- Just a thought.
Good Luck

Damian is 15.5 months and he is wearing a size 5. His size 4.5 sandals he just grew out of. I would go with a size 4 or 5.
but im thinking she has super little feet.
at the same age,
my two older children were in a 4, 5 or more....
i agree with the concept of taking a few pair down,
and returning the extra.
if you can get a 'spin off' of the robeez shoes you might even want to do that.
i have bought a couple different brands some at target, some a kohls...and always on clearance or sale!:)
(near or around the infant socks...)
they dont stay on 'for sure' like the robeez are known for, but when you dont know the size and/ or have space issues it's a viable option.
here is a picture of my little cutie's feet
i took just for this post.:)
...one shoe off and one shoe on....:)
happy shopping.

When Aza was that age she was in size 4s and now she's 21 months and in size 5. I would say 4 or 5 would be average.
Our boy is in a size 3 and he just turned 14 months. His toes are a good finger width back still.
We brought Mia home at 14 months and she was wearing a size 4. 4 months later is is moving into a size 5 but it depends on the shoe, some 5's are too big. If you can get them in time I agree with the Robeez, we are on our second pair (we bought a pair for our visit trip at 1 year old).

I loved the Robeez with Castle but never tried the knock offs because they were stiff and not as cute but our local Walmart has started carring some that look every bit as good as the real thing and are very soft. I think they are $9.99.
I was glad to see this post, because I had a hunch my 16 month old Elena had small feet for her age and I guess she does - she's still easily in a size 3. She's STILL not walking on her own and I have been blaming her small feet and 90th percentile head. The combination makes her top heavy - it's too easy to fall. And hitting her head really makes her mad!

Lauren Grace turned one on March 29th. She still wears her size 3 shoes (really small feet). Of course, most of the time, I put her in her Robeez, which are size 6-12 months. She will be in that size for a long time, I would think. I agree with what the others have said -- size 4 will probably be fine and Target and some other stores have some traditional type shoes that are flexible so they will work great. Have fun!

Wow, small feet! My daughter started wearing size 6 at 18 months! Wonder if I have the super tall Guatemalan girlie... lol

Target stores carries a similar shoe to the Robeez that have held up well for my little guy. Nordsroms carries a selection of Robeez. Both sets allow you to fit teh child well without the guessing of if a shoe fits.
Size 5 and still the 12-18 month robees, the 18-24 are still too big for him. Although in cheap bin shoes he can still wear a 4, because bin shoes run big! Good luck! :)
