Hi ! I am a big girl myself, about to adopt a newborn. I tried on my friend's Bjorn (she is a size six or less) and when I loosened the straps all the way, it fit just fine. I am a size 24 - not sure how plus you are but if you're a 24 or less, I would give a regular one a try. You'll probably be pleasantly surprised like I was.

I tried several and hated all of them. They were hot, constricting, and overall miserable to wear, IMO. DD hated them as well.(I was a size 24 then, if it matters.)
