Our foster mom brought Nestel's NAN formula for Josh and I can't find it in our stores...it's only available online. Does anyone know of an equivalent?

I just saw it for the first time yesterday in Publix - a supermarket in the Southeast. We live in South Florida so I don't know if it's just in our stores - but if you live near a Publix, they have to provide you with something if they have it for sale in another store. Which means they'll get it for you. And b/c it's for sale in the United States you know it meets all the FDA requirements. So bonus!! (I know, but I just love the dancing banana) ;)

Have you talked to your pediatrician yet? S/he may be able to make a good recommendation for your case. My son was on 3 different types of formula while we lived in Guate, including a special one for reflux (we had some SERIOUS projectile vomitting going on for a while). After emailing our pediatrician, we got some really good, practical advice on how to handle the situation.

When I go down there on our pu trip I am just buying a ton of cans of it. We don't have any place around here that sells it, and I figure that she's not going to be on it too much longer being that she'll be 10.5 months when she comes home. The transition to Nestle good start is a great idea, though. If I run out that may be what I end up doing.
