My dh and I will soon be getting our license to foster adopt. We have a question about how tpr works. Do the birth parents have the right to appeal at the tpr hearing? Thanks

Yes if tpr is granted the parents have a set # of days to file an appeal. It is different for each state. Here in Florida they have 30 days from the day the appeal is signed (this is not the same date as the tpr trial). If the parents appeal it can take between a few months and a couple of years for the appeal to be decided on.
