As of this month, we have been in process with our agency for a year. Does anyone know if we we will have to retake our pride classes because it's been a year? Someone told me that the classes are only good for a year before you are required to retake them? Is that true??
You'd have to ask the agency, but I took PRIDE, then put everything on hold while I moved to a bigger place and changed jobs. Then our SW changed. It was over a year and a half, close to two years, before I completed the process and I didn't need to retake anything, other than the annual classes that we are required to take anyway.

depends on the agency i'm sure but we were told we had to have 20 hours (i think was the #) of training a year, we could do diff. things to get it in (conferences, some movies, etc with approval) or we could attend a shorter pride class
you only have to take PRIDE once, but you have to maintain the training hours. Some classes have to be retaken every year but that depends on your agency.
my agency requires 30 training hours each year. 8 in Behavioral Management, 10 online, 12 in person. Pride would be an easy way to get those hours in but you do not have to retake PRIDE with my agency.
Good Luck!
