our new foster/adopt dd's will be joining our family soon!
I'm excited, yet terrified! two more little ones to be in charge of.
Give me your best organized-mommy tips!
Congratulations! Six is a wonderful number! To me, it is easier than 1 or 2!!! Just remember to be flexible and take things as it comes! And always get ready to go places WAY earlier than you think you need to, and always aim to leave earlier than you think you need to, 'cause that way you'll manage to make it just on time! LOL!

I keep a different colored folder for each of my children with important information in it - birth weight, etc., meds, copies of adoption decrees, important contact information, last IEP/school grades and any other pertinent information in it {kept in clear see-thru pages}. I grab the child's folder as we are going out the door to whatever appointment they might have that day. I also have a binder for me listing the kids' current sizes, my calendar {printed from my computer every Sunday}, an updated listing of the kids' last appointments {doctor, dentist, eye, etc}, hard copies of appointments, school newsletter listing events, etc. I have set laundry days and keep a laundry basket outside the rooms and our children put their clothes up {sometimes!}. ;) The kids have their own towels {2}, but I also keep extra towels in a towel holder in the hallway. Individual Chore charts for me are a must and I also have one for after meals. Even I have a chore chart and keep up with housecleaning by doing a certain room on a particular day. In the bathroom and bedrooms, I have a chart that shows what needs to be cleaned. It saves me a lot of time as my kids don't come to me to check how they did until they look at it. I have mesh containers for their socks. That's all I can think of right now. :fish:

Good advice- considering I'm always late as it is!! I really need to get that under control now!
I agree -when I had 1 or 2 kids,I felt way busier than I am now but maybe that's just because I'm older??
about the folder thing - i have all mine together in a big binder with a tab for each child. i keep a copy of birth cert shot records, class rules, soccor schedules, etc. it really helps.
