Please help with any info on an adoption that took place thru Detroit Baptist Childrens Home. I am a male born november 28th 1973 at Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI I was about 3 month old when I was adopted to Carol and William Hall around age three carol remarried and my last name was changed to Lemley. Any info at all will help

I know only that my brother was born in Michigan and his adoption was handled by Child and Family Services of Michigan. I have been told that he was born in late December when my mother was 16. Which would be 1973.The man my mother said was the father is said to be over 6 foot tall, dark, and quiet. I have talked to his family, and they said that he is Native American. My mother is 5 foot 4, petite, light brown hair, brown eyes.I was also told that the adoption was not planned, and the decision was made at the hospital. My grandfather (who has passed) said that he was not adopted right away.
