Adoption Granted!!!!

I have not been on the board much. But I wanted to let you all know that our adoption was final in December.

It was a contested adoption and took over a year. It was a lonnnng process but it is FINAL!!!

A little history, my ex was in prison for battery. Never paid support and had no contact. He did contest, and a GAL was appointed. According to our state he was found to have negleted her. The adoption hearing took about 3 hours, and was granted that day. Thank you for all your support. I will try and help as much as I can.:love: :prop: :grouphug:

Congratulations! It's such a super feeling the day the judge grants the adoption. And it sounds like you had a lot of sweat and tears put into the whole thing too. Congrats to you and your family :)
