Hi, I just found out that Chester County does not have a foster to adopt program and I would have to transfer to Friendship House and get approved for their foster/adopt program. I understand that they get children from Chester County C&Y but do they children elsewhere as well. Does anyone have any experience with either or both that they can share with me. Right now I have a placement (infant) that is going back to kinship...it is breaking my heart. I don't have any children and my husband want to do both....adopt and foster.
Any experience or help please? Also, do they pay the same daily stipend and or daycare subsidies (CC has a waiting period of four months+ and the money goes with the child so each placement you wait again).
