I really need advice. If I stop fostering and go forward to a private agency to do foster/adopt, I need to know what agency to use. I am in Chester County and have contacted Friendship House--they are affiliated with SWAN...but that is it. I have no idea what way to go...stay with the county, go with private agency (and if so, who?) or get my own homestudy done and do my own investigating and contacting of caseworkers for children in the system. Needing advice...please email me of agency suggestions....bad ones and good ones that you know of...costs, etc. I am open to adopting siblings and children from 0-10, limited problems.
Please help with anything you can, no matter how simple. I'm currently anticipating the lose of my first foster son...in one week's time.
