Hi my husband and i just got married in january and are planing on being a foster parent. But was wondering if there is a age requirment to be a foster parent. I am 20 and my Husband is 21. We just bought a new home and make plenty of money I was wondering if anyone knew. I live in Spring hill florida. and if anyone has in informaton on fostering in my area please let me know thanks.

I was 20 and my husband was 21 when we started fostering. We live in Georgia and this was almost 2 years ago.
You are probably okay as far as age, but I know that in TX, where I live, they made us wait until we had been married for two years before they would let us foster (we were able to begin classes slightly before that).
Different states probably have different rules about that though. One agency told us it was 1 year to foster, but two years to adopt.
Where I live you have to be at least 21 and if you're married, married for at least 2 years.
here I believe it is over 18 but you have to be a certain age older than the kids. So you would probably be looking at younger kids only as opposed to a larger spectrum of ages.
