Natalie ~ i TOTALLY understand!! I was the same way!!!
Ok...i followed the regular protocol from asklenore.com...bcp, dom, herbs, all the info is there. i induced twice, once for a failed match, and once for my daughter.
With both, my supply increased pretty quickly by pumping with a symphony every 2-3 hours. i got much further with my daughter and was able to make enough for her to have breastmilk all day, and then formula at night up until she was 3 months old. I slowly stopped at this point, for many reasons...mainly my daughter had some issues that needed my attention, and pumping didn't allow for this, secondly, I didn't have the support system i needed to tell me not to stop trying to put her to breast. So make SURE you have that in place before hand!!!
The bonding experience was amazing, and I wouldn't trade it for the world! My body worked for the first time, ever!
Another hint...if you do it, take pictures nursing your baby...the time goes SO very fast, and its nice to have those memories!!!
Good Luck, and let me know if you have any questions!!!
