We adopted DS #1 3 years ago and might be looking at #2. I've been thinking about trying breastfeeding but DH thinks it's weird.
I'm not fully sure how I feel about it. I didn't BF #1 because I was just too stressed out to even think about it. So I feel odd about wanting to do #2 but I didn't do #1.
Will I have to start getting ready before the baby is born? I don't want to do all the work and then it not work out.
Can I just pump and bottle feed?
I adopted 2 newborns and did not breastfeed. This is baby #4 that we are expecting and I will breastfeed. I think if you want to do it, and you can get dh on board, why not. If you feel weird about it though then maybe it is not for you? Good luck with your decision

Thanks for the input.
The only part that I feel odd about is the 'putting to the breast part. But the whole it's best for the baby is what I like. DS has allergies and had tubes by 6 months in his ears. And I know that not breast feeding didn't make that happen, but if it could help prevent it, I'm all for it.
