Can anyone help me find the correct Petition for Adoption? I live in Comal County, Texas. My husband passed away 3 years ago and we had one child, then age 2. Now, my son is 5 and I just got remarried. My son's stepfather wants to adopt him and we will change his name to our last name. This will not be contested since the biological father is deceased and I am his natural mother. Can you help me with the correct forms?

We are wanting to do a step parent adoption here in Leander Tx all paper work is complete and has been since April or so we just hit a lil financial issues and werent able to file will we have to do the paper work all over again my former husband passed away in 2005 so i also was able to get his death certificate from california
