TJ's adoption took 18 months! So when it was finally upon us, we sent out notices that read: We finally Got-R-Done: Now we can celebrate!!!!! Everyone thought it was cute, but ours was very long and drawn-out.

Ours said : "Just a little get together, it will be such a treat! We have a little someone, we would like you to meet!" Then there was a couple of pics of the baby & ofcourse all the info. ETA: We just had them made through Walgreens photo center too, so not too pricey!

We are having our adoption party this year (fingers crossed) and we are adopting 3 new little ones. so ours is going to say: 6 more hands, 6 more feet our family is now complete....

Such sweet and cute ideas! Mine said - It's a Girl! 42lbs. 6oz. Everybody got a kick out of it - esp. my SIL the OB/GYN!

My daughter's said, "Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone, but still miraculously my own." At the end they said, "Now we are three," followed by our names. If you PM your email address, I'd be happy to send you a picture of her announcement. That was 4 years ago! My newest addition was a straight adoption, and I put the following quote on hers: "This precious soul, so sweet and new...this little life, a dream come true." I googled adoption announcement wording and found tons of great quotes.
