I'm a student who is in my last course before graduating. I am earning a B.S in Human Services and a minor in Psychology. My final course is called "senior project" which is basically writing a mini-thesis. For my paper, I will be discussing foster care and how to reduce the foster family/parent drop out rate. I would love if some foster parents would be willing to do a short interview with me. Case specific questions will not be asked (for the protection and anonymity of the children), and questions will remain general, such as why you chose to become foster parents, how it has affected your family, what you like and dislike about being foster parents, training and support you are provided, and so on. Ideally, I'm looking for both current and previous foster parents, and those with and without birth or adopted children in the home along with the foster children.
If anyone is willing to help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
