New poster, although I've been lurking for a bit. We are in Region 8 and went to a TDFPS informational meeting a few months ago and are now ready to move forward and begin the process.
What are the advantages/disadvantages of working with an agency vs straight with TDFPS? If we decide to go with an agency, what sort of questions should we ask to figure out if that agency is right for us?
If it matters, right now we are only interested in basic needs kids, probably 0-3 so we can maintain birth order. That may change once we get our feet wet and understand a bit more about how everything works.
