Placement Calls...and turning them down

Chris and I have received two calls thus far.

The second one today is just tearing me apart. Both Chris and our Adoption Worker suggest we wait until the right sibling set comes along. This is the hardest thing Ive ever done.

Im sad, these girls were perfect for me...but my husband Chris wants at least one boy.

I guess I have a fond place in my heart for two little girls, since Ive been there done that...

Anyone want to share their stories (hopefully happy ending ones!)

If your husband is adamant about having at least one boy, then the placement wasn't the right one for you.

But then again, it's fostering and there's a good chance the girls will either be RU or go to additional family.

Ultimately, do what's best for your family.
