need a good book geared to 5 year old who is learning from her older sister that she is adopted (both are from foster care and are siblings) My 5 year old has no memory of parents and may have limited memory of bio siblings we visited until age 3...not sure...she will find out she has a brother and three other sisters
Thanks for your help
We just got Maybe Days and Murphy's 3 homes which are geared for Foster Children and have a great parent resource in the back. I can't remember the author's names but it is by the same publisher.
Its not geared toward adoption but rather explaining taht some kids experience this and some experience that, etc.

I loved "A m other for Choco" but my then 5 year old avoided the book. She loved the Todd Parr books.
If you need to explain adoption Choco or, if you can locate it, Mr Roger's book on adoption are quite good
