anyone read this. I am trying to get some childrens books for our placements, and these would be books I would keep and not send. I already have 1 or 2 in my cart, to be purchased on payday. the description is worded in a way I am not sure i love. Please share your insigt if you have read this book.
We have this one and Maybe Days. The youngest of my kids likes Murphy plus we have a dog and the kids love to hear how he came to live with us. My 11 year old is not a fan but it was helpful on explaining fostering to the 4 year old. Maybe Days is long but also helpful. Both have talking points in the back. Neither of them are a book chosen every night but they have been useful.

I have not seen that book, but from the description it looks like a very good one.
When my daughter was elementary age, she loved the book "Zachary's New Home: A Story for Foster and Adopted Children". She read it a lot, and she read it to her friends, and she almost chose it for show-and-tell (but decided on a book about friendship instead, if I remember correctly).
The book "Those are MY Private Parts" was the best liked (and only one to seem to get the message across) of the sexual abuse topic.
