court was fine. Back in 2005, we were asked barely any questions at all. This time, the judge asked more, but nothing difficult. 30 day wait, then our facilitators will need about 10 days to do some additional paperwork for us (instead of us having to do it while we are there), so we are estimating we'll go back around March 3rd. Haven't heard anything official yet, though so we'll see.
Funny that I was more emotional when the court decision was read this time than I was with our first daughter. I guess since the judge asked more questions I was getting nervous, plus this go around we've had a longer wait between trip 1 and court and it has gotten to me.
Good luck to all those waiting.

Yes, we sure have!! Our regional judge will not set a court date for us. She originally said she would have to set it after 30 days (by law) if there if no official moratorium throughout all of Russian. The 30 days passed, and she still would not set a court date. Our agency feels she is acting out of fear because she was told be the RF that she was not to set anymore court dates. Apparently, the...
We decided to go ahead and accept the referral and we are traveling. We could not get ourselves to decline the referral based on what could be incorrect measurements, we want to go there and do the due diligence ourselves. We are taking a HUGE leap of faith, and need all your prayers and kind thoughts. I am sincerely hoping and praying that our first trip is successful. We are hoping to travel on May 11th. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. I cannot fathom how people go through this, it is proving very difficult for me. I have had a significant loss in family this year, for which I have traveled out of country twice already. Everything is tight - money, time off from work, but declining just did not feel right. We will go there and see what is in store for us.
Good luck to you!!!!! We took a leap of faith too.......did not contact an IA doctor........but went with our gut. We are still confident in our decision. Before I get jumped on......I am not suggesting anyone not use an IA doctor, just that I understand following your gut and taking that leap of faith. Hope all goes well for you:).
