Adoption Assistance

Hi I am new to this site and need help on filing for adoption assistance for a special needs child which is my niece. My niece qualifies for adoption assistance but I need to write a letter to Children and Youth explaining what it cost my husband and I to support her and her special needs. Did anyone have to write a detailed letter and can you please give me some ideas what i can include in the letter. From what I was told our county will try to give me 70% less then what she is getting now thru the kinship program. Honestly what we get is $21.00 per day and I can tell you that doesn't cover the cost to support a child these days especially because she is in daycare during the day. I have some ideas what to include in my letter but I don't know anyone else that has adopted a child. Any help would be greatly appreciated :) The sad part about this whole situation is my niece needs the assistance because she was born with Hep C and in a year will need to go thru intense treatments every week. The treatment center is 100 miles one way from where I live and we will do that every week for at least 32 weeks straight up to 52 weeks. But I am willing to do what it takes to help give her a chance to beat this and give her a healthy life if god will allow. I pray for her health every night because she doesn't deserve this. So this is why she will need the assistance to help with all of the expenses.
