I'm trying to round up a list of organizations who give grants for domestic infant adoptions.
Anyone care to share organizations you are aware of or have had experience with?
Thanks!

This is what I found...not sure if it will help you.ADOPTION FOUNDATIONSThe National Adoption Foundation (NAF) provides grants of $2,000 or more to assist potential adoptive parents with a portion of their adoption expenses. For more information on requirements or to apply for a grant, visit National Adoption Foundation. The JSW Adoption Foundation provides grants of $2,000 or more to assist potential adoptive parents with a portion of their adoption expenses. A Child Waits Foundation nonprofit charitable foundation formed in 1998 to reduce the number of children not adopted from International orphanages because prospective parents lack the savings to pay for the cost of adoption. Eligibility to receive a loan is based on financial need and each case is judged individually. Other sources of funds, which should be applied for first, include bank loans, loans from family members, securities, and savings accounts. For more information, contact Adoption Loans Adoption Financing Affording Adoption A Child Waits Foundation or call 866-999-2445.The Boatner Family Foundation A small foundation which provides grants from $1,000 up to $10,000. They require an agency approval, a financial statement, and a formal application. For more information contact: The Boatner Foundation, P O Box 132272 The Woodlands, Texas 77393-2272.Maybe someone else on here can help better if they have had experience with an organization?

I've only applied for 2 so far....National Adoption Fund (Quarterly) and Supporting Families... OVERCOMING infertility! (grants for infertility patients for treatment/adoption). There are a few more that I'd like to apply to but I'm waiting on my homestudy to apply for.It took alottt of research to find the people still providing grants/loans for DOMESTIC Adoption. There are alot of faith based organizations out there with grants/loans.

I created this go fund me page Adoption by Chris Orgel - GoFundMe to ask for help with our desire to adopt a newborn child. We are looking for any donations no matter how big or small. Please forward this link or post anywhere that you think it might help. Thank you so much for you help. God Bless You!
Judi,There was one organization that we applied to, but I can't find the info now, but I recall it was called Show Hope Foundation. They are need based and at the time you had to be homestudied, but not yet matched. You could use any award toward any type of adoption; domestic, international, special needs, etc.... showhope.orgGood luck!
