I just finished reading this book about a week ago. It was a pretty good book, very easy to read and something that you can finish quickly. It is one foster mom's account with parenting a foster baby who she ended up later adopting. She relays how she felt second guessed by the cw's and her agency, her feelings of wanting a foster child but also fearing that she was "preying" on other parents, waiting for them to fail which was refreshing for me to read someone else's thoughts because I have felt that, too.
Also discusses interracial adoption and the effects of fostering on the bio children.
Amazon has it used and inexpensive!
