Please, if anyone can provide me with the stepparent adoption forms for Texas I would be soooooooo very grateful!!! I have been researching this for months and cannot find the forms anywhere. My 12 year old son really wants my husband to adopt him and we're trying to surprise him before school starts. Of course, my husband is also looking to forward to legally become his father. My ex is MIA and has been for years so this will have to be with the involuntary termination forms or whatever they're called. I think we're going to have to put an ad in the paper? Also, any advice for this type of adoption would be appreciated. Thank you all!

My husband has been a father to my children for 12yrs now. They don't remember who their biological father is he don't pay child support (unless child support takes it from him) My husband wants to adopt them. I can afford an attorney. i would love if someone in Texas could share your step parent adoption forms. If you happen to have a multi-child form, that would be wonderful beyond words! I have two wonderful girls that have been mine since they were old enough to walk and now that they are old enough to understand, I want them to understand that I want to be their dad forever. (this is an uncontested adoption) Thank you doesn't do service to the gratitude I feel to anyone that can help.
