A friend has a child with oral fixation. They have been using the size 3 Nuk, which is for 18-36m. The child will be three soon, but is a big kid. They have tried to use other items designed for kids with oral fixation, but so far he has refused them. Is anyone aware of a brand that makes a pacifier that is bigger than the Nuk size 3?

Why would the child need a bigger pacifier?
I have a friend whose daughter is 9ish, and sucks a pacifier when she is sick, and it's a regular old baby nuk.
If he wants a bigger paci, I'd give him the options "You can keep the paci you have, or move on to these other chewy toys that are not pacifiers, but might be bigger" and let him choose.

Thank you. The oral fixation is not chewing. When anxious, he will suck on his shirt. The sucking also allows him to self-soothe. A chewing type device would not be effective.
