I have completed my packet And ready to turn it in. Today I took pictures of all the rooms. My only concern. I plan to pull up carpet and paint the room this summer. I am a teacher so I generally try to save things like that for summer. We will be accepting foster infant-2 yrs. So currently the room has cribs (not put together and leaning against wall) swings, pack and plays, strollers etc. I am hoping they just want to see the size and make sure it has windows. All the bedrooms in our house are 400 square feet , so size is not an issue. I plan to write on the back that the room will be repainted and carpet pulled up to stain floors like the rest of the house. I really hope that is ok with them,, It will be finished prior to any home visits.

when I turned in my pictures I did not have the room setup, even when I pulled the life book together I did not have the rooms ready. You don't know what age/sex you are getting and 2yr old are big and a toddler bed will not work so everything is really in the air until you are matched. you can let you agency know but I do not think it will be a big deal.

It should not be an issue. We have remodeled with foster kiddos in our home, changed sleeping arrangements, and so on. All of the rules seem daunting before you get started, but they really do want you to be a normal family doing normal family things like repainting and remodeling, at least that has been our experience.
